Consultation and Advice
Many clients approach us with a clear idea of what they want to achieve but not how their goals can be realised. We are always happy to discuss a proposal - no matter how sketchy - and to advise you not only on the best route forward but to be honest in our opinions as to whether you have a project at all.
Initially, we can work with our clients to develop their ideas through a Feasibility Study or an Options Appraisal.
This preliminary approach to developing a project brief is employed to tease out what is needed and on what evidence, what is achievable, and what is deliverable. This simple and economical exercise provides focus and can frequently save a client considerable initial expense.
Because we have designed, built, managed and used a wide range of sporting facilities; and because we provide advice across the country working with most of the major funders and with some of the country's leading design teams, we can offer guidance and recommendations that are tailored to your specific needs but above all that are realistic.
We work for the Youth Sport Trust in providing nation-wide support in the development of facilities for PE and sport for the Government's Academies programme. We have commissions from Sport England and others in providing guidance for 21st century facilities for PE and school sport through the Building Schools for the Future initiative.
Our work for individual clients in developing applications to major funders such as the Sport England Lottery Fund and the Football Foundation brings us to the cutting edge of sports facility design.
We built the case for, oversaw, and project managed the development of the first Sport England sponsored Optimum sports hall construction in the country.
For all these reasons and more, we can provide advice that is founded on experience, knowledge and a proven track record.
